I manage the marketing and PR for composer and conductor John Rutter, including his social media, website, newsletter and streaming channels.

I’m the marketing and communications consultant for London Youth Choirs, a family of 10 choirs for young people from school year 3 to age 23.

Middlesex University

I’m a guest lecturer on innovation within the classical music industry for the new MA Classical Music Business course at Middlesex University.

Musical bookshop

In January 2022 I opened an online musical bookshop, stocked with novels on a classical music theme. Buying from Bookshop.org supports both Alternative Classical and local, independent bookshops. There are books about pianists, opera singers, music teachers, choirs, musical books for children, and more!

The King’s Singers have represented the gold standard in a cappella singing on the world’s greatest stages. I worked behind the scenes working on their digital marketing.

London Symphony Orchestra

I interviewed artists for the LSO’s 2021-22 season for their programme notes and for their blog. I also interview musicians and entrepreneurs on the Alternative Classical site.

Nonclassical

Marketing & Events Manager at Nonclassical, producing and promoting contemporary classical gigs in pubs, clubs and warehouses.

London Sinfonietta

Freelance marketing for contemporary music ensemble London Sinfonietta, including social media, copywriting, proofreading and producing programmes.

Tutti

A sales role for London-based startup Tutti, the Airbnb of creative spaces, suitable for rehearsing, recording and performing.

Street Orchestra Live

Marketing, PR and Tour Production for the UK’s first pop-up ensemble, described as “truly uplifting” by The Guardian, including producing a 15-concert tour around Liverpool.

The Old Church

Marketing & PR Manager for The Old Church, an arts venue in Stoke Newington and described by the Evening Standard as “one of the best London churches to watch live music in”.

Spitalfields Music

Marketing Manager at Spitalfields Music, managing a team publicising extraordinary music in unexpected places for the Summer and Winter Festivals.

Kings Place

Digital marketing support for the Contemporary and Jazz programmes at London’s newest concert hall during its 10th anniversary year.

Classical Remix

Digital marketing and PR for the Synth Remix tour to London, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, which celebrated the pioneering women of electronic music.

London English Song Festival

Digital advertising for the revival of Parry’s oratorio Judith at the Royal Festival Hall, previously not performed in London since the 19th century.

Melos Sinfonia

Stage Manager for the Russian premiere of George Benjamin’s opera Written on Skin, semi-staged in St Petersburg, London and Cambridge.

Beethoven 251 Festival

Digital promotion for the Beethoven 251 Festival by The Outcry Ensemble, conducted by James Henshaw. Eight of Beethoven’s nine symphonies performed across one week.

Music for Youth
