JOHN RUTTER

I manage the digital presence for composer and conductor John Rutter, including his social media, streaming platforms, mailing list, website and PR.

Street Orchestra Live

I am the Marketing & PR Manager (and sometimes the Tour Manager!) for the UK’s first pop-up ensemble, Street Orchestra Live, described as “truly uplifting” by The Guardian. SOL performs free concerts in public spaces including museums, libraries, train stations, prisons and hospitals. In 2019 I organised 15 concerts in Liverpool across three days, including an impromptu performance in Primark, which was featured on Classic FM.

Tutti is the Airbnb of creative space, matching available space with musicians, actors, dancers and podcasters looking to rehearse, record or perform. I am signing up new venues and marketing the platform to performers.

London English Song Festival

Digital advertising for the revival of Parry’s oratorio Judith at the Royal Festival Hall, previously not performed in London since the 19th century.

Spitalfields Music

Marketing Manager at Spitalfields Music, managing a team publicising extraordinary music in unexpected places for the Summer and Winter Festivals.

Kings Place

Digital marketing support for the Contemporary and Jazz programmes at London’s newest concert hall during its 10th anniversary year.

Melos Sinfonia

Stage Manager for the Russian premiere of George Benjamin’s opera Written on Skin, semi-staged in St Petersburg, London and Cambridge.

The Old Church

Marketing & PR Manager for The Old Church, an arts venue in Stoke Newington and described by the Evening Standard as “one of the best London churches to watch live music in”.

The Purcell Singers

Promoting the award-winning chamber choir during their 25th anniversary. You can hear them on the soundtracks for Madagascar 2, The Da Vinci Code and Mary Poppins.
